This trip is tailored to those who want to dedicate a few days to fishing while experiencing the tranquil beauty and magnificent nature of the islands. With our many years of experience, we ensure that all details - from meal times to practical needs - are adapted to your wishes, so your fishing experience is as optimal as possible.

Itinerary

Day 1: Your journey starts with check-in at Lundsgaard Bed & Breakfast between 4-6 PM or by arrangement. The location is close to the coast, where you can cast your line into the water from day one. As Lundsgaard does not have a restaurant, we recommend visiting one of the good eateries in Faaborg, which is only 5 km away.

Day 2: The day begins with breakfast at Lundsgaard, followed by a trip to the ferry departing from Kanalvej 13, Faaborg. Departure times are 5:50 AM or 8:00 AM on weekdays and 8:00 AM on weekends. You will receive your ferry ticket in advance via email, which simply needs to be scanned by the ferry staff. The ferry crossing to Lyø takes approximately 40 minutes. At 9:10 AM, the ferry arrives at Lyø harbor where we have sent packed lunches and coffee for lunch. The packed lunches will be found in a clearly marked thermal box at Lyø harbor.

After a few hours of fishing, you take the ferry from Lyø harbor at 2:45 PM and arrive at Avernakø at 3:10 PM. Upon arrival at Avernakø Landhotel, we will be ready to welcome you with coffee and cake, as well as accommodation at Avernakø Landhotel. Dinner is served according to your wishes, so you can plan your fishing day without interruptions. In the evening, you can explore the beautiful coasts of Avernakø and prepare for the next day's fishing. We also have facilities and space for socializing where, for example, a fly or two can be tied (you must bring your own fly-tying equipment).

Day 3: On day 3, you make a packed lunch during breakfast, so you have the freedom to plan the day according to your own wishes and focus on finding the perfect fishing spot. Check-out from the room is at 11:00 AM, but we offer storage of luggage and any catch until later in the day. Of course, there is open service all day.

You choose when you want to take the ferry home, and we will arrange the ferry ticket. If you wish to extend your stay and explore the Sea Trout Paradise further, there is the possibility of purchasing additional nights and meals.
